All users have the right to visit Mark Wade, Author anonymously and withhold their personal information but, please note, by doing so it may prevent them from participating in certain events and activities hosted by Mark Wade, Author.

As is standard when subscribing/participating in any of the above-mentioned activities, the personal identification information collected by us includes the following: First and Last Name, Email Address, Mailing Address, IP Address, and Any Other Details required to better serve you.

This information allows us to:

  • Send prizes — if you are a giveaway winner

Giveaway winners will be contacted by email. All Giveaways will state where the prize is coming from. If the prize is coming from an author, publisher, or company your mailing address will be shared with them. If Mark Wade, Author is shipping the prize, your mailing address will be held for three months or until we’ve been notified the prize has been received.

  • Respond to your requests, review requests, inquires, complaints, etc.

Any personal information acquired by Mark Wade, Author from users via requests, review requests, inquiries, complaints, etc. will not be shared unless it’s required to address the inquiry and I have permission from the user to do so.

  • Comments

When commenting on Mark Wade, Author the user’s name/username will be visible. Although not shown publicly, WordPress, the commenting service used, will collect and store your IP address, email, and name/username. If, at any time, you wish for your comment to be removed, please notify me.

  • Sending Out Review Copies: review copies will be sent in the following formats (e-book, audiobook, and print). If you requested a giveaway copy, your information (name, email address, and mailing address) will be saved for 6 months, unless you have agreed to be on our Reviewer List.

Occasionally, Mark Wade, Author will share information regarding page views and such with trusted business partners . This information is nonspecific and contains no personal information regarding our users.

  • Giveaway winners will be contacted by email and will have 72 hours to respond. If we have not heard from the winner(s) by then, another winner(s) will be selected.
  • All Giveaways will state where the prize is coming from.
  • If the prize is coming from an author, publisher, or company your mailing address will be shared with them.
  • If Mark Wade, Author is shipping the prize, your mailing address will be held for three months or until we’ve been notified the prize has been received.
  • PLEASE DO NOT POST YOUR MAILING ADDRESS IN THE PUBLIC COMMENT FORM. If you do post your mailing address in the public comment form, Mark Wade, Author is NOT responsible for it being distributed.
  • Mark Wade, Author is not responsible for any delays in claiming or receiving your prizes or damages to prizes that occurred in the post. When a prize comes from a third-party Mark Wade, Author has no responsibility over the item.
  • Please read each giveaway carefully as further rules may apply.
  • No substitutions will be made for prizes you win.
